Water-to-Go and Riviera Travel
Water-to-Go and Riviera Travel are now working together to reduce plastic waste. Specially branded Water-to-Go bottles (75cl and 50cl) are being offered to Riviera Travel clients, to avoid having to buy single-use plastic water bottles in order to get access to clean safe drinking water. In addition to this, these clients can receive a 15% discount off their bottles, with an additional 15% of the sale being donated to Riviera’s cause of choice, toilet twinning, a charity that helps bring clean water and safe sanitation to the world’s poorest communities.
Hercules Zeris, Head of Worldwide at Riviera Travel, said: “We’re all aware of the scourge of plastic pollution and at Riviera Travel we’ve decided to focus on reducing one specific type of pollution. We are very excited about our new collaboration with Water-to-Go and look forward to saving thousands of single-use plastic bottles.”

Riviera Travel and Responsible Travel
For the past 20 years, Riviera have been proud partners with Hope and Homes for Children. Their mission is to close all orphanages and place the children with loving families, so they do not remain in state institutions for all their young, or worse, sometimes adult lives. Every time you choose to travel with Riviera, they will donate a percentage of the total cost of each holiday to this fantastic cause. As it currently stands they donate over £120,000 every year.
In addition to Hope and Homes for Children, Riviera also supports several other charities, such as Pancreatic Cancer UK, local charity Me & Dee, the MoonWalk for Breast Cancer Research Foundation, St Giles Hospice and more. Over the last 12 months they have been able to raise over £4,000 for these charities, including a recent donation of £217 to charity partner Plastic Oceans UK. Another big commitment of Riviera’s is to produce less waste and in fact they are currently able to recycle 90% of what they produce. They now have the goal of pushing even further and bringing this number up to 95%. Within their offices they have removed all paper hand towels and replaced them with a more environmentally friendly solution, further reducing waste. Copy paper comes from sustainable forests, where for every three forests grown for paper, one of those will be a dedicated home for wildlife and the printer toners used are recycled by the company that produces them.
